The house has been classified by the French Ministry of Culture.
The classification of the building obliges the owner to apply to the Minister of Culture for authorization to carry out restoration and renovation work. Work on nationally protected buildings can be heavily subsidized by the state. When planning such work, the owner can call on the services of the Service des sites et monuments nationaux, which will advise the owner free of charge.

The house is located on the main Hovelange road between Elvange and Beckerich.
The floors are linked by an old wooden staircase. Ground floor: kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room and toilet.
Second floor: 4 large bedrooms and a small room. Cellar and attic.

Hovelange is part of the commune of Beckerich, located in western Luxembourg. The Beckerich commune comprises seven towns: Elvange, Hovelange, Huttange, Levelange, Noerdange, Oberpallen and Schweich.

Schools:
The municipality of Beckerich has a comprehensive school, a Maison Relais, a pre-school in Oberpallen and two primary schools in Noerdange and Elvange.
As a secondary school, the Lycée technique "Atert-Lycée" is located at a distance of around 8 km à Rédange-sur-Attert.
Young people in the area can also take advantage of the Youth 4 Work service to help them find their way at school and/or in the workplace. This is a one-to-one coaching service, providing personal assistance with the various steps involved in finding an apprenticeship, training or job.

Sports:
Beckerich has a sports complex with halls and an indoor arena that can be rented out to local associations and other organizations. The commune is criss-crossed by several cycle paths and footpaths that are sure to delight cycling and hiking enthusiasts. For swimming enthusiasts, Beckerich residents can make use of the Rédange swimming pool, whose special feature is that it runs solely on green energy (méthanization, solar energy).
