Surroundings

The commune of Bettendorf comprises the villages of Bettendorf, Gilsdorf and Moestroff. A bakery, butcher's shop and restaurant are just a few steps from the houses. The development is right next to the river Sûre, from where you can access the Sûre Moyenne cycle path (Reisdorf - Ettelbruck), a beautiful route along the river. Hiking trails allow you to relax in the midst of nature, with breathtaking views, and various play areas are available for children. Less than a kilometer from the development is a school with a halfway house, an early-learning center and cycles 1 to 3.

The village of Bettendorf offers country living, but is also very close to the cities of central and eastern Germany. Diekirch is just 8 minutes away, Ettelbruck 15 minutes, and Mersch and Echternach are around 23 minutes by car. Thanks to the A7 motorway, the Kirchberg plateau can be reached in 40 min.

Diekirch is home to a number of supermarkets, stores and restaurants, as well as a swimming pool and the "Ciné Scala" cinema. Diekirch's charming pedestrian zone invites you to spend a pleasant afternoon shopping or an evening on one of the many terraces.

Transport

The "Gemeng" bus stop 300 m away is served by various bus routes (500, 501, 502, 503, 512, 752, 942), mainly connecting Echternach with Ettelbruck. The Diekirch and Ettelbruck railway stations provide access to CFL line 10 (Troisvierges - Luxembourg).
